covid-19 Safety
As Sidecar opens its doors, we’re committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff. Although this list is ever evolving, the following outlines some of the measures we currently have in place:
Face Masks
We ask that all guests wear masks to enter the restaurant and courtyard. If you do not bring a mask, we have disposable masks available. Once seated, you can take your mask off but please wear it anytime you leave the table.
Seating
When you arrive, a host will greet you at the entrance with masks (if needed) and paper menus. Hand sanitizer dispensers are mounted around the venue. Upon entering, you and your party will head to our first-floor bar area to place your first food and drink order, before taking a seat. We only allow one or two groups (depending on the day) into the bar area at once. If there is a line, please keep a distance between you and other guests and please be patient, as we have developed this ordering process with the safety of you and our staff in mind. All of our tables are spaced six or more feet apart. When your food is ready, a staff member will deliver it to your table and will be your server from that point on.
The dining areas, bar and restrooms are disinfected frequently throughout the day. Tables and chairs are sanitized between guests. Payment equipment is cleaned and sanitized before and after the guest uses it.
Our Staff
By wearing masks and PPE, continually washing hands and sanitizing our workspaces throughout the shift, and socially distancing as best as possible, our staff is taking all necessary precautions to make sure our guests feel safe and comfortable.
In the event that a team member tests positive, the CDC will be alerted and the restaurant will temporarily close to allow for a deep sanitization and testing of all other team members. Any COVID-positive team member must self-quarantine for at least 10 days and provide documentation of two consecutive negative COVID-19 tests from a health care provider prior to returning.
